Kalun, Swing import would be nice but I don't have enough time to do it by myself. What I want to do is to opensource some parts of WireframeSketcher so that others could write such a tool themselves. Please let me know if this interests you. Perhaps you can contribute some code?

We notice that you support importing SWT windows and dialogs. That is a great feature, and we would like to see the same for swing. Do you have any plan to make that happen?

The dashed outline is very usefull, but why is there only a dashed outline for rounded rectangle?

i think it would be very useful to have a background-color-property for the tooltip.

on the same topic: the bubble's startingpoint (dunno what this is called) should have 4 more options: top:center, right:center, etc..

Per, for now you'll have to get creative using multiple tables and extra spaces to size columns.

Hi,

i would like to draw a table. It should have 3 main columns. The 2 at end of table should be splitted into 2 "sub-columns". So i can get 3 Mainheader columns and 5 Subheader columns for my rows. Should look like this

<pre> | Column1 | Column2 | Column2 |

| | Sub1 | Sub2 | Sub3 | Sub4 |

| whatever | x | x | | x | </pre>

Can i do this already? If not is it possible to create a component for header and another for body? Great would be to if the column width could be set.

Could you do this using Callout widgets? Put a callout near the widget and then put a full-comment somewhere below.

Oh sorry. I red it like that: "use a visual editor tool (like properties) to relate some more informations to a component."

What i would like to achieve is that i can avoid adding notes for describing what features a component has to provide or actions have to be executed if component is used. I use the plugin havily for specification. So i feel the desire to add my comments to the component.

If these notes could be printed out under the screenshot in PDF all my requests would be done :-) (Until next one comes into my mind :-)

But this would only be a "nice to have". Through the implemented features this tool is definitly useable for me (my notes solution for spec comments).

I am not sure how your request is related to this one. This request is actually implemented and will be available in the next version. It adds two properties, customId and customData that can be exploited by code generation tools.

Your request is related to PDF export. Do I understand correctly that you'd like to put the name of the screen in the document header? If yes then lets create a different topic and discuss it there.

First of all. Thanks for this amazing tool. It saves so much time if you have a customer not knowing what he wants to do how.

This tool is definitly a must have eclipse plugin

Now to this feature request: +1 from me. It would be cool if name / description can be printed out to PDF.

Changing selection outline color

Hi,

Recently it was pointed to me that the color of the selection outline makes it difficult to work with widgets. Since most widgets have a black border and the selection outline is also black most of the time the result is a 3px wide black border.

I think it would be a good idea to change the color and perhaps the style to something else. Here's my first attempt of a Visio-like style selection:

I'd like to hear your opinions on this. Any other suggestion is welcome!

This is exactly how I would like custom controls to work. You would drop .screen files in some dedicated folder under an Eclipse project and the palette will load them from there. I am planning to enhance the screen file format so that different snippets can be named and then show up as independent controls in the palette. This way a screen file will be able to contain multiple controls.

I would like the ability to add new "controls" to the palette sometime in the future. Maybe drop a .screen object into a folder and refresh the palette and have them show in a "custom" group.

I know...easier said than done ;).

At this moment there is not direct integration with Mockups Gallery yet. However, it's something that I am planning to do. Right now what you can do is to drag & drop the Calendar screen file link directly into your mockup. Please let me know how it works for you.

Hi Sanjeev,

Are you looking for some kind of toolbar to put on top of the textarea widget? You can try to create one using a combination of Icon and Label widgets. Then you can group them all together and manipulate them as a single widget.

I think such a widget is a good candidate for http://mockupsgallery.com/.

I have just started using wireframesketcher and its really a very good software. I wanted to know that is there any widget for representing html editor as in websites sometime instead of normal textarea we have to use htmleditor? So is there any way to represent that in wireframe or is there any way to create new widget?
