excuse my ignorance, but is there a way to display menus with sub menus.

I was specifically looking for a vertical drop down menu with items that would link to other screens?

please advise

Barrie, take a look at Popup widget. It's a vertical menu with linkable items.

I guess what I was looking for though was one that collapses out of the way, as with it allways expanded it kind of takes away from seeing whats behind it.

i suppose that crosses into the mid-fidelity area of prototyping i bet though.

Thanks for the response, I was more thinking of something that would close when you were not on it, thereby also allowing what was behind it to be seen.

Unless I am missing something, the popup widget always displayed in its expanded state?

Barrie,

WireframeSketcher is a tool for static wireframes so it does not handle interactivity. A standard way to do what you want is to create multiple screens that show different states. You can link them together for a click-through prototype. Use components to avoid screen duplication. Any screen can act as a component (master) so you can easily create screen variations. Let me know if this works for you.
