CVS install fails with conflicting dependencies

Hi,

when I try to install CVS form the Juno update site, the following errors appear:

Cannot complete the install because of a conflicting dependency.

And there are even more ... What can I do? I am using the newest version of Wireframe Sketcher.

Hi Oliver,

I could reproduce the error you are seeing. I'll investigate it and will let you know if it can be fixed. In any case we'll need to release another version of WireframeSketcher that bundles some of the newer dependencies that CVS plugin requires.

As a workaround you could use WireframeSketcher as a plugin and install it one of the many Eclipse IDEs. Would it work for you?

I investigated it more and it looks like CVS plugin now requires full Eclipse IDE so it's not possible to install it in WireframeSketcher Studio. This was possible before, but not anymore.

So if you have CVS as a requirement then your only option is to install an Eclipse IDE which bundles CVS plugin and then install WireframeSketcher plugin. If other version control systems are an options for you then I'd recommend to use Subversion instead (search for Subversive in install dialog). Git is also available and then there are other external plugins like Mercurial, Subclipe, TFS and others.
