Sketcher palette won't replace Eclipse palette.

I started a new project and the eclipse palette shows up for main.xml.

How do I get the Sketcher palette to come up?

I have started a new screen and the SP comes up, but I can't get it to work for the main.xml.

What am I doing wrong?

WireframeSketcher uses .screen file extension and .xml. To create a new screen file you should use screen wizard as described in user guide: http://wireframesketcher.com/help/help.html#working_with_screens/creating_a_new_screen

I'm referring to main.xml, not a new screen.

I am new to Eclipse, so I may not be using it correctly. Pardon me for being a noob.

According to the manual:

"The palette can also be opened in its own view using Window > Show View > Palette."

So I did that while at the very beginning of a newly created project. The Eclipse layout palette was displayed by default. Another palette window opened up with this message "A palette is not available."

Why is the Sketcher palette unavailable for the main.xml?

I am not sure what main.xml is. Is this a file you are trying to create? The palette will appear as soon as you create a new screen file. The palette is not available when editing other file types.
